The roles introduced her to a more refined audience, and proved she could hold her own opposite some of Hollywood’s leading men. Cameron Diaz made her triumphant return to Hollywood in 1997’s My Best Friend’s Wedding. Cameron even managed to hold her own opposite another pretty woman, Julia Roberts.
